This unique Art Deco fixture from the heydays of the European Art Deco era is another one of our most recent great finds. Its remarkable, circular and stylishly layered shade is all hand carved out of one solid rock of alabaster and for this particular pendant they clearly picked the perfect rock for it comes with beautiful and evenly divided veins. That combined with the lighter veins and patches that have formed in this mineral stone over thousands of years makes it even more special. The stunningly layered Art Deco shade is beautifully finished with a unique ’round point’ at the bottom. We are again proud to be able to offer you this most stylish of Art Deco alabaster lights in this perfect condition. It must have taken one (or two) highly skilled craftsman a whole lot of time to first hand-draw and then perfectly hand create this remarkable Art Deco design. For it to still be in such great condition (after 100+ years) too is like an ode to their craftsmanship. We could shoot many more photos, but you still would not be able to see the true beauty of this stunning light fixture. In real life (or in person) our antiques always have that little bit more and this remarkable and ideal size pendant is no exception. The matching, also layered alabaster canopy and original rope and tassle are like the icing on the cake of this timeless and colorful pendant.
