A spectacular and important bronze chandelier, a so called “Lustre Mazarin”, of superb quality, with 8 arms and above these, 4 lights and in the middle of the balluster 4 heads on scrolls , and underneath 4 angel-heads. The chandelier dates from the end of the 18th-beginning of the 19th century, its origin is France.
It barries all porcelain and brass original fittings. The electricity cables have been redone, but the old original ones, are still visible
Coming out of a baroque Merchants house, in the old Center of Brussels
The chandelier takes twelve E14 bulbs.
Measures: Diameter 90 cm.
Height fixture 90 cm.
Total height including the chain is 110 cm.
Weight 45 kg.
