About the Item
Gorgeous pair of vintage Art Deco sconces signed by Pierre Maynadier. They are in patinated brass and glass that was pressed and molded, typical of the mid-century creations. Both hardware and glass wear geometrical designs, also typical of the mid-century period. These sconces give a beautiful render whether they are lit or turned off.
Pierre Maynadier was a designer and producer of art deco lighting and collaborated with numerous glass factories like Schneider, Sabino and especially Muller Frères. Occasionally shades that are signed P.Maynadier are models exclusively made for Maynadier by Muller Frères.
It is currently wired to 220V as per European standards and could easily be switched to 110v as per American standards, upon request and free of charge. The light bulbs are not included.
